I live in a big and beautiful country called Vietnam where taking a car trip is certainly a matter of great adventure and enjoyment. Of course, so far, I have managed to have such car trips only to a few places, but today, I would like to talk about a car trip which I am really looking forward to.
I want to take this car trip from my Hanoi (my home town) to Halong Bay which is about a 170 kilometres journey. Now, I must say that I have never taken such a long car trip before, so it is going to become equally challenging as well as thrilling.
Of course, I wouldn’t take that car trip alone since travelling alone is no fun. On that occasion, I would not take a public bus since I will rent a car for this trip. So, I would take a couple of friends with me, who are not only good drivers, but also they have already taken a road trip to Hanlong Bay a couple of times, and it is them who actually have convinced me to take this car trip.
Anyway, before I hit the road, I am planning to buy a road map so that I know what my itineraries are exactly going to be. By the way, I would take Haiphong Expressway for my car trip as it would cut the drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay from four hours to little more than two. Of course, I would need to pay some toll money to ride on this highway, but it is certainly worth the cost since it would allow me to have a speedier and shorter drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay.
Well, I want to take this trip to Halong Bay by a car because I have never really driven on a highway for a long. Besides, this car trip would allow me the flexibility to travel to places of our choices at our own pace. I want to travel to that place in a car also because it would allow us to reach our destination quicker and take breaks on the highway whenever we want.

雅思口语怎样流畅表达?
1. 有些同学在讲英文时由于紧张或者思维中断会出现表达停顿或是说“那个”等中文语病的习惯。
对策：大量补充合理拖延时间的英语表达方法，如：How shall I put it? I think... That's difficult to say, I guess... 等，雅思考试口语指南中有专项讨论这个问题，其中收集的语句就很有效。在口语表达过程中一出现停顿就可以将这些表达方式灵活使用。
2. 大部分中国同学在考雅思口语时都有回答过于简洁的毛病。
Are you still a student? Yes, I am.
Where do you study? I study in Tianjin University.
Which major do you do? I'm in Computer Science Department.
Which year are you in? I am in the third year.
不可否认，如果对上述问题的回答是在日常生活交流中没有任何问题，但是在雅思口语考试中就不那么符合要求了，因为雅思口语考试只有短短的20分钟，如此简单应付会使考官认为你没有什么用英语交流的兴趣，使他对你的口语水平丧失信心和耐心。
符合雅思要求的答案应该是在第1个问题问出的时候就直接回
答： Yes, I am in the third year in Computer Science Department, Tianjin University. 不仅简洁而且信息详细，这样就避免了考官在进一步问更多问题。
雅思口语考试的所有问题是预先设计的，所以考生在考前准备时也应该对常见问题做出答案，而不是真的两手空空去考试，完全看现场的发挥。
所以从这个意义上说，雅思口语考查并不完全是考生的真正口语水平，而是考前的准备工作。而且准备答案时要注意做到信息含量大而结构简洁。切记回答过于复杂冗长。
3. 不习惯使用定语从句。
可以说在中文和英文的表达上比较大的区别就是定语。中文习惯把定语放在被修饰成分的前面，而英语恰恰相反，喜欢将定语放在后边，就成了定语从句。
举个简单的例子，如果你习惯说 I like red flowers and green trees, 那么现在就要改成 I like flowers which are red and trees which are green.
值得一提的是，这里并不是建议大家教条地把所有的有定语修饰的句子都改装，只不过提醒大家注意英文的表达习惯，意识到在你的英语口语中应该有大量定语从句的存在，这样才能使你的口语向更为完善、地道的方向迈进!
4. 不习惯说反话。
用含有否定词的句子表示肯定的含义和不含否定词的表达否定是英语口语表达的一大特点。
在雅思口语考试的准备过程中应该多补充类似的常用语句。比如：当你同意某人的观点时，通常会说 yes 或者 I agree。不妨使用一下 I couldn't agree with you more, 既增加了肯定的语气，又丰富了口语表达的含量。
相反，如果你要表示不喜欢某物，则可以用 sth is the last one I consider. 这种没有否定词的否定句。
