《敬佩的商人》是9-12月口语换题季的新题，这道题整体难度不大，我们先来一步一步拆解开来。首先题目要求描述这个人是谁，大家在选择人物的时候还是要选择自己熟悉的人，选择对象可以是国内著 名商人，也可以是国外的商人。
雅思口语Part2＆3新话题：敬佩的商人
其次就是“How you knew this person”这个问题，在这里特别要注意的是，题目中的“admire”一词是重点，他一定是你敬佩的商人。

第 一小问这个人是谁，是一个人物类的常规问题，相信大家的回答经验很应该很丰富了，可以回答他是来自哪里，从事哪个方面的工作，在哪里生活等等。
How you knew this person
第二小问要求回答你是怎么知道这个人的，在这里大家可以根据你对这个人的初次印象和了解的经过进行描述，但也不要过多描述，因为第三、第四小问才是重点。
What kinds of business this person does
第三小问可以作为一个重点问题，要求描述这个商人是做什么的，大家可以说他成功经商的经验，相信成功者都不会一帆风顺，可以描述一些他失败的经验但是最后克服了。
And explain why you like or dislike it
最后一个问是主观类回答，要求回答的是喜欢/不喜欢这个人物的原因，但经过前面的铺垫，一般我们都会选择是喜欢。原因的描述，因为第三小问说了他的事业，那这里就可以说一部分他的个人品质，对社会的回报以及他对整个行业有什么积极作用等。

Today I’m going to tell you about a businessman that I really admire and respect. I live in a beautiful and peaceful street and most of my neighbors are working for companies or running their own enterprises. Among them, I would pick Mr. Vincent as the most admirable businessman I have ever met.
Mr. Vincent is 30 years old and he established his first company when he was only 26. His company trades medical equipment, and it’s name is Viet Sun. He has acquired a reputation as a profound and dedicated person to his work, I usually find him leaving for work early and getting home late. Even on weekends, instead of hanging out with friends, he is still glued to his computer screen.
Despite being older than me by nearly 10 years but he looks really young and is always full of energy. Few people have the great passion and relevant skills to pursue to their goals. Mr. Vincent is one of those who could achieve his dream by himself at the age of 26, and this is what I find most appealing about him.Another of his lovely traits is definitely his wise advice. Therefore, whenever I feel discouraged, I will seek his advice. I have learnt many useful things from him, not only in everyday things, but also in attitudes to life.
To me, he is not just a normal businessman, but a person whom I can share things with and learn many things from. I really owe a lot of gratitude to him.

技巧一、正确运用“please”
考生应该在句尾加please，而不是在句首加please。当please用在句首的时候，语气听起来就比较强，听起来像命令。比如请求别人做某事的时候，我们中国人会说“请在周一前给我回复。谢谢。”但是如果你直接用英语说“Pleasereply to me by Monday. Thank you。”听者会觉得你是在命令他，一点礼貌也没有。而如果这样说：“Could you pleasereply to me by Monday? Thank you。”就显得有礼貌了;
技巧二、多用虚拟语气
虚拟语气可以使人感觉表达者是在考虑达到最 佳的结果或方式，尽量避免不好的结果或方式，或者推测可能出现的问题，并找出可能解决的办法;所以考生应当在自己的雅思口语中多运用would(had) rather、would (had) sooner、would (just) assoon之类的表达，或者在陈述句中使用过去式表示虚拟语气，或者使用if等引导的从句表示“可能性”。

西方人在与他人交流时，比较多地使用情态动词：can、could、may、might、would等等;情态动词(ModelVerbs)又称为情态助动词(Model Auxil-iaries)，表示说话人的语气，可表达建议、要求、可能和意愿等，使得说话的语气比较有礼貌;

技巧四、多用疑问句
雅思口语中，陈述句的表达可能显得生硬、没礼貌时，尽量使用疑问句、否定句或从句，尽量避免自己的主观判断或武断，以积极的、建议的、比较的、人性的语气，代替消极的、命令的、直接的、武断的语气;
技巧五、多肯定他人
考生在说话的时候要以他人为中心，以肯定他人、赞同他人为前提，让自己显得谦卑、渺小。说完之后，还要附带一句“Thankyou”或“Thanks”。其实，这种礼貌的表达方式是来自古老的中国。这是东西方文化的共同点，也是为人处世的基本原则。了解英语中礼貌的表达方式，尽量让自己的英语表达更有礼貌，融入社会。
