02话题分析
这是一道事件类话题新题目，难度并不是很大但是同学们需要仔细审题，题目要求是在学校内做的手工活动。所以同学们可以先回忆一下自己比较喜欢的手工艺术品进行描述。
对于有手工经验的同学就可以选择说自己做手工的一次经验。但是如果没有实际经验的同学就需要发挥一下想象力，可以说较为常见的在学校美术课上剪纸、做陶艺、绘画等活动，又或是当下非常流行的自制香薰蜡烛、自制弹弓、自制椅子等等，只需要同学们灵活的将制作地点改成学校即可。

When it comes to an art or craft activity that I had at school, I’d like to talk about a thing that I did as a young elementary school student.
Back then, my school often organized lots of extracurricular activities to help us learn something out of books. There was an activity to help homeless cats near our district and we were all excited to participate in. As a prerequisite for attending this activity, we were required to build a paperboard house for those cats. So our teacher in art class led us to accomplish this meaningful task.In order to make this “house”, I used some hard cardboard, some magnet papers, a hole puncher, and a couple of heavy binding cords.
For starters, I cut strong cardboard into two sheets in the same size, and I cut as many sheets of magnet papers as I wanted to the same dimensions. Then, I just attached those magnet papers withthe cardboard in order to stack them in a layer on top of another. After that, I punched two holes along one side of the stacked layers in order to tie them together with the cord binders by threading through the punched holes. In the end, I painted the house into pink as I thought it would attract cats to come in.
Anyway, I felt really great about this particular art and craft activity as I could actually see the result of my hard work with my own eyes. Besides, this special activity also allowed me to share some good laughs and quality time with some of my other fellow students. On top of that, I could contribute something to those homeless cats, which was really meaningful and it could often remind me ofcherishing those little lives.

Personally, this would do harm to not only children’s academic performance but also their long-term mental well-being. <让步> There is no denying that proper pressure provides a boost to students’ study, <反驳> but excessive and long-term strain can only be counterproductive. In terms of study, children learn mainly because of pressure, instead of the desire of self improvement. This inappropriate incentive goes against the essence of education. When children realize that and fail to bear excessive pressure from their parents, it is highly likely for them to rebel or even to give up study. Also, it jeopardizes children’s mentality. When their daily schedules are packed with all sorts of academic tasks, such as after-school classes, they are devoid of chances to socialize with their peers.
